Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX With Improved Battery and ICS Comes On January 26

Buying a good phone is an enjoyable deal, but we always want to get what we are paying for. I mean we spend much money on gadgets, though they do not justify themselves. The same thing happened with the Motorola Droid RAZR—firstly Motorola was playing with our nerves unveiling more and more details about the phone, but not giving the whole panorama.  Then it was announced this is the thinnest LTE handset in the world. After which the phone was launched but we weren’t able to enjoy it fully. Why? Because the battery was very weak and didn’t provide an appropriate life time. Fortunately, Motorola listened our “prayers” and announced the successor of the Droid RAZR very soon. Now we have the full specs list of the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX and introduce it to you.

As you remember, the original Droid RAZR was packed with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 540×960 pixels resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear facing and a 2MP front facing cameras and runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. All the above mentioned features were saved for the Droid RAZR MAXX, but now it will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is a step forward taking into account we can count only a few smartphones with this version of Google’s platform on board.

The second gladsome news refers to the battery—initially it was known the successor of the Droid RAZR will be packed with a more powerful battery that will allow users to enjoy their beloved device longer. Now when the specs list is known we can say Motorola has made a glorious work, because 3300mAh is quite enough. That means the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX will provide users up to 21 hours of talk time, which makes this smartphone stand out.

As for its launch date, the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX will be launched in the US via Verizon Wireless on January 26. This is an official information so it’s left only ten days before we can get our hands on this amazing device that has won a title of the longest lasting 4G smartphone.

Shortly, I am impressed with what the company has made and recommend you to read about all the improvements on Motorola’s web site.
