Motorola Droid RAZR Update on the Way

| December 20, 2011 | 0 Comments

Starting today all the Motorola Droid RAZR owners must be attentive to update their handsets as soon as possible. Why I am so serious because this update comes with many bug fixes and developed to raise the productivity of the phone, thus it will make the Droid RAZR work better and last longer.

All in all, this is not what we have been waiting for. I mean you won’t see Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich there, though it is already available for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus meaning other manufacturers are working on an appropriate update too.

Anyway, the update is on the way and the official changelog includes following improvements.

  • SIM error notification has been fixed
  • Improved camera features and quality
  • Improved stability of menu access, browser, phone dialer, video playback and music player to prevent force-close errors and lockups
  • Updated group message notification in e-mail
  • Improvement in 3G/4G data connectivity
  • Maintain network connection upon completion of a voice call
  • Background color has been adjusted to improve readability in Lapdock connection UI menu items.

Though different sources note different orientation of this update, we tend to think it is made to improve the whole performance of the phone as there are enhancements referring to network, camera, notifications and others.
