There are several mobile manufacturers leading the US smartphone market. Among them we must note Taiwanese-based HTC, Cupertino-based Apple, Illinois-based Motorola and South Korean Samsung. Each of these phone makers has its own flagship(s). I am not afraid of saying Motorola’s current flagship is the Droid RAZR, Apple’s flagship is the iPhone 4S, HTC’s flagship is the Rezound and Samsung’s winner is the Galaxy S2. As we are on the Motorola-devoted website, let’s compare two of the most popular smartphones in the US, the Droid RAZR and the iPhone 4S.

The Motorola Droid RAZR is packed with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen powered with Gorilla Glass technology, 16GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera with an autofocus and a LED flash, an HD front-facing camera and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. It runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. The key feature of this smartphone lies in its thinness; look at its measurements and you’ll see we’re dealing with the thinnest Android device in the planet.

As for the Apple iPhone 4S, the gadget is powered with a 3.5-inch touchscreen powered with Retina Display, 16/32/64GB of internal memory, 512MB of RAM, an 8MP camera with the same features as its competitor, a VGA front camera for web chat, a 1GH dual-core A5 processor and runs iOS 5. The selling point of the iPhone 4S is Siri voice assistant.

Now that you know almost everything about the phones, watch the comparison video below coming our way courtesy of the guys over at Phone Arena.
