Verizon Motorola Droid 4 First Hands-On
The Motorola Droid 4 was introduced during CES 2012 as it was expected for a long time. The device has a large list of interesting features both in terms of design and reliability. The smartphone uses 5 row keyboard making it a nice handset for text messaging (it’s cool to have a separate row devoted to the numbers). The keys are pretty soft, which makes texting even more comfortable. As you see this smartphone is not a simple blood one, so meet the other key features and watch the hands-on video after the jump.

The Droid 4 is the 4th device of the lineup, which uses the latest features typical for high-end devices. It comes with a large 4 inch display which is not only scratch and scrape resistant, but also has a water repelling coating. The processor of the handset is 1.2 GHz single-core one, though this feature could’ve been way better.
The device is so far the slimmest device which works with Verizon’s 4G LTE networks. But obviously while holding it you do not get a feeling of it being too slim and causing discomfort.
The Droid 4 is equipped with an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. The pics taken are rather appealing. For their storage manufacturer offers to use 16GB of internal memory or the possibilities of microSD cards.
The device originally sports Android 2.3.5, but we expect it to get updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon.
